Lisa Kurz, Director
Ms. Lisa Kurz serves as Director in Blue Canopy’s Federal Civilian Practice. Currently, Ms Kurz serves as the Deputy Program Manager on a large federal grants management project where she oversees the delivery of full software development lifecycle support for custom built grant, financial and human resource applications. She is also responsible for quality management, program performance and program execution. In addition, she is supporting her client with the implementation and monitoring of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) with the goal to increase transparency in Federal spending.
Ms. Kurz brings over 12 years of experience in grants management, performance management, change management, process streamlining and policy analysis. She also has significant experience in training program development and help desk deployment.
Prior to joining Blue Canopy, Ms. Kurz was a Senior Manager within BearingPoint’s Federal Grants Management Solutions Group. In this capacity, she supported several Federal clients with the implementation of their custom built grants management applications.
Ms. Kurz holds a BA in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) both from Virginia Tech.
