Reuben Maher, EVM Practice Lead

Reuben MaherReuben Maher is a seasoned consulting and practice leader with over ten years industry experience providing visionary, strategic C-level direction to government and private sector clients throughout the entire systems development lifecycle (SDLC). Mr. Maher formed and directs Blue Canopy´s Earned Value Management (EVM) practice and has managed a number of large programs and provided guidance in maintaining control over all aspects of a program´s cost, schedule, and budget performance. He has led major technology initiatives at Fortune 500 companies and been integral in program planning, developing surveillance processes to monitor controls, and managing and mitigating risks by establishing rigorous reporting requirements.

In addition to his program management background, Mr. Maher is responsible for all corporate solution development activities around EVM including EV readiness and holistic program performance management. Mr. Maher conceived, developed, and rolled out the Earned Value Management Office (EVMO©) solution to tie EVM processes together with an organization´s Program Management Office (PMO). In addition, he manages the Deltek EV product alliance and associated go to market strategies and is trained in Deltek´s Cobra solution and their entire Enterprise Performance Management suite. He also recommended and implemented a Business Intelligence (BI) solution which served a dual purpose as the knowledge management (KM) repository for his North American organization while at General Motors.

Mr. Maher is both Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certified. Additionally, he received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from American University with a focus in Global Information Technology Management and Marketing. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) with highest honors from Oral Roberts University with dual concentrations in Theology and Education. He was awarded Blue Canopy´s 2007 Chairman´s Award for Outstanding Practice Leadership.
